TAXIIIIIII … what looks like a hyphen is a key-fob. I didn’t even notice that it looked like a hyphen until three months later. Now that’s all I can see! *grin* Another friend wanted to know if it was pronounced TA-CHI. I guess I’ll have to call my next book “CAB”.

your fans are probably thinking reviewer 1 didn't get it & reviewer 2 did. i think the golden rule for a book should be that it's ...oh never mind.....

Writing critiques has become a scary job these days because so many authors have gigantic egos coupled with the sensitivity of Little Miss Muffet. Magazine editors say that agents tell them to go easy on X because “she started crying” at the mere hint of a negative review. I, of course, am so rhino-hided that I think it’s great fun just to get any review! Must be my great age! Time, the great toughener of hides!

I think the point of giving and taking criticism should be for betterment and improvement. Fuck Egos on both sides!

I'm here! We’ll see something, I suppose, in RI but not totality. I’ve seen totality (in India, in Rajasthan) and was blown away. Nothing like it. But I’m not in a position to travel towards the path. So I am refusing to fret about it.
