Yes, it did convince me to be more thoughtful about what I eat. Alas, it’s very difficult to become a Mindful Eater versus my norm, ie, Mindless Gorger! But watching the film has helped return me to the path of mindfulness, even though I don’t think it’s as good as the book.
My Waterloo is bread and related wheat products. I ADORE bread/toast/pasta. But I have realised (very, VERY slowly) that it’s possible to re-orient one’s appetite towards better choices.
I quite liked the book about guts. Was a revelation at that time!

Not easy to watch everything we eat but I have slowly weaned off eating out often and munching junk food. That process has made me a better cook.
